Every Monday morning (short of me being without my wits - no comments please) you will find a new sales perspective to review and hopefully it will inspire you to a greater level of success! I'm long, long overdue to explain what's going on with me and my inattention to posting the weekly PERSPECTIVE. I sincerely apologize to each and everyone of you ! What's happened to me ( and a few of you already know ) is that one of my long time clients has challenged me to show them by doing instead of preaching. Seems reasonable doesn't it ? Anyway, I accepted their challenge and I'm actually out on the street and everywhere else I need to be trying to do the all of the things I have told you to do over the years !!!
And so, I have intentionally passed on keeping this posting up to date for multiple reasons. The biggest reason is time constraints. I still have other clients and several people I coach over the phone - that coupled with accepting a full-time challenge is my story.
Again I apologize to any and all for not defining my situation earlier.
Where do we go from here ? I have to make some decisions ( can you believe it - I'm going to be 69 soon ) about where I go from here. I want to do that for 2011 ( or possibly before ).
For right now, I'm enjoying the challenge and my internal dialogue is racing about coaching myself, etc. LOL
Wish me luck and I do still answer the phone and / or return calls !

Challenge yourself to grow ! Challenge yourself to be more accountable to yourself and the people who rely on you to make it happen. There isn't one of us who could not be more productive, more focused, more goal oriented, and more open to change - doing things different than what we have ever done before. Look around for success stories - they are all over the place. Get inspired ! Kick yourself in the butt ! NOW GO SELL SOMETHING - YOUR BABY NEEDS A NEW PAIR OF SHOES ! REMEMBER every salesperson is a part of the economic recovery we are all looking for ! Don't believe me - go to the Sunday classifieds and see where the most job opportunities are. Yes, it is the sales jobs which far outnumber any other professional group that are looking for producers ( well, maybe the need for nurses outnumber us in certain areas ). There is only one direction that is going to solve any of our problems - "MORE SALES". HAVE A GREAT WEEK ! CALL IF I CAN HELP YOU OR YOUR TEAM !! Always remember - "people still buy people" and that's why we have sales professionals ! "The Biggest Obstacle to Sales Success is the Resistance to Change How You Sold Yesterday in Order to Be More Successful Today " Everyone can improve their "artistry" as a salesperson and their knowledge of the sales "science" (justifying decisions). No one knows it all ! Please get " ACKNOWLEDGEMENT " when you present features and benefits. You know - actually sell them by getting the "buyer" to accept the value of your feature and benefit ! Mr. customer, do you see how that will benefit you ? ( and wait for an answer - don't answer for them ). Most salespeople can't stand silence and hardly ever get acknowledgement !! If I'm the buyer and I just sit there and listen - maybe nod occasionally - have you sold me anything ? I don't think so !
